คณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น มุ่งให้บริการวิชาการเพื่อขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาสังคม ชุมชน และเศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์ในภูมิภาคอีสาน โดยผสมผสานศาสตร์ด้านสถาปัตยกรรม ผังเมือง และการออกแบบเข้ากับภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น เพื่อสร้างคุณค่าทั้งในเชิงสังคมและเศรษฐกิจอย่างยั่งยืนบริการวิชาการของคณะครอบคลุมตั้งแต่การออกแบบอาคารและพื้นที่สาธารณะ การพัฒนาย่านเมืองเก่าและย่านเศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์ การออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ์ชุมชน (OTOP/Creative Product) การบูรณะศาสนสถานและอาคารประวัติศาสตร์ ไปจนถึงการอบรมและพัฒนาทักษะ Re-skill / Up-skill / New-skill ให้กับประชาชนและผู้ประกอบการท้องถิ่น เพื่อเพิ่มขีดความสามารถทางอาชีพและความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีของชุมชนการดำเนินงานทุกโครงการสะท้อนค่านิยม “S: Societal Contributions” ซึ่งเป็นหัวใจของวัฒนธรรมองค์กร ARCH KKU — การอุทิศความรู้เพื่อสังคม คณะฯ จึงมุ่งพัฒนากลไกบริการวิชาการแบบบูรณาการ ทั้งเชิงพาณิชย์และเพื่อสังคม เพื่อให้มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นเป็นศูนย์กลางแห่งการเรียนรู้และออกแบบเพื่อชีวิตที่ดีของคนอีสาน
